The Project

Connect Community is McKesson’s Jive-based community hub for its U.S. Pharmaceutical customers. I redesigned the homepage to be a more engaging experience based on the community manager’s research, implementing a more prominent way to start conversation threads. The challenge was to work within Jive’s out-of-the-box theming tool and keep the system simple enough for the community manager to update himself.

The community manager and I whiteboarded some ideas, which I then wireframed and evolved into design. I developed the HTML and CSS for the site, where I’d configured the Jive widgets that are used to build the page. The result is a cleaner and more engaging homepage.
